Pennine Bridleway

The Pennine Bridleway is a 130-mile trail that navigates some of the most picturesque countryside in England.

Running through Saddleworth, the bridleway meanders past green fields, dry stone walls, and beautiful reservoirs hidden below the vast Saddleworth Moor

Views of mill chimneys and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal offer a peek into the rich industrial history of the Saddleworth villages of Uppermill and Delph.

Open to horse riders, mountain bikers and walkers. Few can resist the opportunity to tackle this stretch of the Pennine Bridleway with its euphoric views over the stunning Saddleworth countryside.
