Visit one of Oldham’s Countryside Centres to take part in a range of activities for all age groups.   The Castleshaw Centre near Delph provides history and geography environmental education courses for schools.  Outdoor adventure enthusiasts, young and old, can try canoeing, rock climbing, hill walking, raft building and much more.. 

Dovestone Sailing Club, set in a 100 acre reservoir at Greenfield, welcomes both experienced and novice sailors.  Their fully qualified trainers will take you to club racing level and beyond, in a range of disciplines from dinghy sailing to power boating.
