Greenfield

The village of Greenfield lies at the edge of the Peak District National Park and is an ideal starting point for the area’s many moorland walks.

Walkers can experience the Oldham Way, starting and finishing at Dove Stone reservoir and meandering around the countryside of Oldham and Saddleworth.  Dove Stone is a spectacular area and is a popular spot for visitors, with easy access from the village of Greenfield.

The war memorial on ‘Pots and Pans’ provides magnificent views and a vast area of open-access moorland where hikers can wander at will up to heights of about 600 metres.
