Failsworth

Failsworth was countryside until the boom of the Industrial Revolution and now links Oldham to Manchester.

Points of interest are the Failsworth Pole on Oldham Road, a political pole originally erected in 1793 and the famous firm, Failsworth Hats, set up in 1892 to manufacture silk hats.
