Willow Weaving A Tunnel in Dunwood Park

8th March 2020 1pm to 4pm FREE

Come and have a go at Willow Weaving. An experienced willow weaver will instruct and lead a group of volunteers and members of the public how to construct a willow tunnel in the amphitheatre area of the park. The tunnel will be fixed (planted) in the ground and remain as an attraction within the park.

Please dress appropriatrely as it is a boggy location and the planting of willow is hoped to dry out the area and provide a natural attraction for children to play in.
