Friday 24 September  2021 7pm -  £16 plus booking fee

FRESH FROM SPIKE ISLAND

As someone who has seen the ‘real’ Stone Roses live twice, I didn’t know what I’d make of the Clone Roses but I was incredibly impressed with their musicianship. They’ve built up a huge following over the years and to get so many people into a tribute gig is an amazing achievement.

The MEN said of their recent Spike Island sell out gig-
"Not many people can quite capture the ‘magic’ of seeing the Stone Roses perform but Clone Roses came very close.

The Stone Roses are without doubt one of the most important bands of British music and their music has influenced and inspired many artists.
But with the Stone Roses appearing to have once again called it a day, there is only 1 option to hear those songs played with the same passion and energy as the real thing. The Clone Roses are the longest serving and most popular Roses Tribute playing live today. The attention to detail is second to none, with the band acquiring the same clothing, instruments and usually play the same set as The Roses themselves. The band have recently played Isle of Wight Festival, Shiine on Weekender, and “A Tribute to Manchester” headlining to over 2500 at Manchester Academy 1, and to 1700 people at Ulster Hall in Belfast, as well as a UK Tour of the o2 Academy music venues.

Come and see Mani's 2nd favourite Stone Roses at the brilliant venue Uppermill Civic Hall.

Alongside we have the brilliant Dave Sweetmore spinning all your favourite Manchester classics and some top tunes you may not have heard , expect to have a right good dance afterwards too. Also we have some really tallented support bands too. Whats not to like.

Please not there are NO allocated seats and the gig will be predominantly standing. There are approx 50 seats upstairs and there will be tables and seating all around the dancefloor and in the bar area. Please arrive early if you require a seat.

Please take a Covid test before you arrive.

We strongly encourage you to wear a face covering from arrival at the venue, queuing to enter, once inside the building and when seated in the auditorium, to help keep staff and others as safe as possible.

There will be a queuing system at the bar, please adhere to this.

This event is for over 18s only - (under 16s accompanied by an adult)
