Saddleworth Winter Wonderland and Christmas Lights Switch on

7th December 2019 12noon to 8pm

In and around the area of King George V Playing Fields (Uppermill Park) Uppermill.

The event will consist of  stalls, music and carol singing, as well as the traditional Christmas Procession along the length of Uppermill High Street, culminating in the lights switch on, fireworks, and final musical act.  There will be a procession followed by a carol service and a firework display. 

Procession will follow a circular route starting at the The Saint George’s Playing Fields (Uppermill Park) traveling to the The Commercial Inn, down to the Carpark at Saddleworth Museum before returning to Uppermill Park. The carol service will be held in Uppermill Park.

The firework display will be (pending consultation by professionals) isolated at a remote park of Uppermill Park, secured by fencing, failing this, it
will be located at Uppermill Cricket Club.
