This is for everyone. This is thousands of people uniting with one purpose - to raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

The Race for Life 3k or 5k is a series of routes around the country that give people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities the chance to come together and show cancer who's boss. They're not races, or runs, and everyone wins the Race for Life (except cancer).
We aim to raise over £25,000 of vital fundraising money at this year's Oldham event.

The course begins by the Lion’s Den and takes in all the park has to offer, including the Boating Lake, Duck Pond and Pavillion Gardens. Inside the park the terrain is mainly path. The route then heads down towards Snipe Clough and loops around the hidden woodland area and back into the main park. A real community event, participants will get a warm welcome from spectators as they finish the route on the same path they started on. Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. There will also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change.
