Orienteering at Tandle Hill Country Park, Oldham

25th January 2020 12 noon to 2pm

Organised by SE Lancs Orienteering Club, these local Saturday afternoon events are ideal for newcomers to the sport, as well as offering a technical course for more established orienteers.

Certificates will be available for all juniors and if you attend more than one of the series there will be prizes to collect

Entry Fee is £4 for adults, £2 juniors, SI card hire is free (though there is a charge for lost cards)

As usual, there will a choice of three courses:

Yellow (ideal for newcomers and younger juniors)

Orange (slightly longer and slightly more tricky navigation, ideal for older juniors and adults new to the sport)

Technical (offering more navigational challenge and length for those who have orienteered before)

The start is near the café so a great opportunity for post-run refreshment!

A small Orienteering event for both Beginners and experienced competitors. Three courses ranging from approx. 2km in length up to around 4.5km. Start times between 12.00pm and 2.00pm but Organisers will be in the park from approx.9.30 am putting out control markers and will be collecting them in until approx. 4.30pm.
