<p>Oldham Council is inviting residents to take part in the Heritage Open Days event – which promises to be bigger and better than ever. From film shows to ghost walks there’s plenty to experience. Whether you’re interested in architecture or just curious about history this is your opportunity to find out more about the heritage around you. This year’s event features a number of exciting activities spread right across the borough.</p>

<p>Highlights include: ‘St Mary’s Estate on Film’ at George Street Chapel; The history of Failsworth Hats at Failsworth Library; Drystone walling in Shaw and many more.</p>
