Milltown to Moors Series 2016
As 2016 rolls around, it’s time to look forward to the new Milltown Race Series!
The ever-popular 7k will be making its return on Sunday 15th May, kicking off at 11am at the Lion’s Den area in the Green Flag award winning Alexandra Park, so make sure you book here early to avoid disappointment.
Next in the series is the Oldham 10k event, taking place on Sunday 19th June and starting from the High Street area of the Town Centre of Oldham and takes participants on a journey that will see them cover ground through Oldham town centre, Shaw and Royton – a great idea for Father’s Day!
Finally, the annual Milltown to Moors event returns on Sunday 16th October at 9:30am. This race sold out in 2015 and entries continue to grow each year with a reputation of one the toughest halfs in the UK. Covering 13.1 atmospheric miles, runners will pass through Saddleworth with lovely views of the village and the Peak District’s landscape.
