Manchester, 1935, Joan Littlewood and German writer Ernst Toller produce Draw The Fires, his play of the 1918 German Revolution. But Joan hates the play, where are the women she demands to know?! Verbatim history meets the radical force of Littlewood in a freshly imagined piece that sheds new light on how the First World War really ended.
