Description
ILLUMINATE FESTIVAL 2022
Oldham Light Night is an evening of illuminated performances, installations and a community parade across various sites in Oldham Town Centre.
Saturday 26 February 2022 at 6-9pm
See Oldham in a new light as our late-night light festival returns for its fifth year.
Explore the illuminated townscape from Oldham Library and Gallery Oldham through to Parliament Square and Queen Elizabeth Hall to see all the mesmerising illuminated installations and dazzling performances.
Illuminate Parade, 6pm
The evening begins with a carnival procession of light from Gallery Oldham to the Old Town Hall.
To take part in the parade come along to Family Lantern Making Sessions at Gallery Oldham, Sat 12, Sat 19, Tues 22 and Wed 23 February, 10am–4pm.

Road Directions
FREE PARKING in all Oldham Counciul car parks from 3pm to midnight for the Illuminate Festival on 21st February 2020.
Council owned town centre car parks: Civic Centre, Waterloo Street, Southgate Street, Bow Street, Bradshaw Street, Rock Street, Tommyfield (No Return Within 3 Hours) and New Radcliffe Street

Access to Oldham town has never been easier thanks to Metrolink. The town centre line has three stops – Oldham Mumps, Oldham Central and Oldham King Street – meaning the many shops, attractions, events and leisure offer is all within a short distance.
