Super Saturdays Creative Family Fun at Gallery Oldham

Be inspired by our exhibitions! We’ve artist led craft activities, painting, drawing and creative fun for all the family on the first Saturday of the month.

Drop in activities, no need to book. All Super Saturday activities run 1 – 3pm and are FREE.

Join our extra special Super Saturday as we take part in the Fun Palace festival on Sat 6 October, drop in from
11am – 3pm to take part in our annual drawing festival!

 

Gallery Oldham is full of fun, creative and exciting activities, events and workshops for children & families of all ages. From our early years sessions to our small cinema viewings there’s always something to bring your little ones to.

As well as our regular events, we also have activities in our gallery spaces and landings which are linked to our exhibitions. We also guarantee to have at least one family friendly exhibition at all times.

Road Directions

Free town centre parking : You can park for free for up to 3 hours on all Council owned town centre car parks (listed below) every Saturday and Sunday. To qualify for this offer you must take a ticket from the pay and display machine for the length of time you are intending to stay.

Council owned town centre car parks: Civic Centre, Waterloo Street, Southgate Street, Bow Street, Bradshaw Street, Rock Street, Tommyfield (No Return Within 3 Hours) and New Radcliffe Street

What to do:

To take advantage of this offer you must take a ticket from the pay and display machine for the length of time you intend to stay. The ticket must be clearly displayed in the windscreen of your vehicle before you leave the car park. If you want to park for longer than 3 hours you must pay at the pay and display machine for the entire length of your stay. You can also park for up to 30 minutes on-street, seven days a week when you take a ticket from the pay and display machine.

Public Transport Directions

The Metrolink route through the heart of Oldham drops you just two minutes from our door. Gallery Oldham provides a wide range of exhibitions and activities targeted at different audiences of all ages within Oldham and the surrounding area. From Oldham Central stop head towards Sainsbury’s car park and almost immediately you’ll see the building. Trams operate at least every 12 minutes in both directions.
