Dr Bike Cycle Maintenance Sessions
Description
The Dr Bike Sessions are open to members of public. Two trained mechanics will service bikes for free and make repairs if necessary. They bring their own tools and encourage people to stop and get their bikes checked. This will mean bikes will be roadworthy for longer and people will feel more confident to cycle.
As part of the recent refurbishments to the King Street and Union Street West cycling and walking infrastructure, a series of two Dr Bike cycle maintenance sessions will be held in Oldham town centre. The sessions are funded by the Mayor's Challenge Fund, through Oldham Council.
