<p>Upcoming film premiere event that's taking place at the Oldham Odeon.</p>

<p>It is a red carpet world premiere for a film by Oldham-born and raised director Nicholas Connor, called ‘Cotton Wool’ ( The premiere will be on Sunday 10th December at 6pm where guests may have their photograph taken on the red carpet and see the first ever public screening of the film. Following the screening there will be a Q&A with the director and key cast members, then an afterparty at the Molino Lounge in Oldham town centre.</p>

<p>The film stars Leanne Best (Cold Feet; Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool; Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Max Vento (BBC’s The A Word), Kate Rutter (I, Daniel Blake; Oranges and Sunshine), and Crissy Rock (Ladybird Ladybird; Benidorm).</p>

<p>‘Cotton Wool’ follows a single mother (Leanne Best) who suffers a devastating stroke leaving her teenage daughter (Katie Quinn) and 7-year-old son (Max Vento) to care for her, testing the family's strength to hold things together as roles are reversed.</p>
