Arbour Road Play Street

6th  and 27th August 2019 12 noon to 3pm FREE

Oldham play Action group are orgainsing  a couple of play street days where the road will be closed for children and the whole community to play. Activities will include skipping, hopscotch, space hoppers, swingball and old fashioned games. We will not promote ball games. Play Streets are a recognised means of bringing communities together and have also been an opportunities for council officers and housing providers to strengthen engagement. They will use the top half of Arbour Street nearest to Birches Parade.

Cars will still have access and egress if required and be walked into place by stewards in yellow jackets.
