Aldermans Ascent 2021

The popular Alderman’s Ascent hosted by Saddleworth Rangers has been chosen to be part of the English Fellrunning Championships.
The annual race sees runners of all ages tackle the tough Saddleworth hills over at 8.5km route, with funds raised benefiting the rugby club’s youth sides. Now the event will be a counter race for the English Fellrunning Championships and will next take place on July 17th 2021.
The women’s race is expected to start at 11am before the men start at 1pm.
Road Directions
Due to larger numbers, the event has been given permission to use a field at Well-i-hole campsite for parking. All entrants will be told to park there and not in the surrounding area's of the event.
