Aldermans Ascent 2020

The popular Alderman’s Ascent hosted by Saddleworth Rangers has been chosen to be part of the English Fellrunning Championships.

The annual race, which started five years ago, sees runners of all ages tackle the tough Saddleworth hills over at 8.5km route, with funds raised benefiting the rugby club’s youth sides. Now the event will be a counter race for the English Fellrunning Championships and will next take place on the earlier date of Saturday, May 16. 

Entry will open on Monday, March 2, 2020.

The women’s race is expected to start  at 11am before the men start at 1pm. Entry price is £11 including a memento.
