One of a number of performances by different artists at a variety of venues as part of the Uppermill Summer Music Festival. Formed in 2013, the Meraki Duo enjoys exploring the diversity of repertoire available to the flute-guitar pairing while contributing arrangements of their own. Meera Maharaj and James Girling both studied at the RNCM, sharing a passion for chamber music. They have performed at a range of venues across the north including the Bridgewater Hall as part of Craig Ogden’s Guitar weekend and a recital at the Lymm Festival.

Tickets are now available from the Uppermill Post Office, Methodist Church and the reception desk at the Museum. £6 per person. The museum reception (telephone number 01457 874093) is open 1 – 4 pm daily.
