Oldham's markets offer a massive selection of goods for sale in a mix of both traditional and modern facilities.
Award winning Tommyfield Market (Monday to Friday 9-5.15pm) is a traditional market, with about 300 covered stalls, offering a wide variety of products including fruit and vegetables, meat, flowers, pet food, mobile phone accessories, greetings cards, CDs, clothes, books and bric-a-brac. Services also include watch repairs and key cutting. With a lively and friendly atmosphere, Tommyfield market is a must for bargain hunters!
Oldham also has two further traditional markets. Royton Market is within the grounds of Royton Precinct and Shaw Market, held once a week in Shaw Town Centre.
There’s also a farmers market at Saddleworth Museum on the second Sunday of the month. It’s a lovely venue to do your shopping and the choice is wide, with organic vegetables, cheeses and Saddleworth lamb being just a few of the goods available.ome down to the Museum Art Gallery to stock up on excellent quality produce. Tommyfield Market also has a second hand market every Wednesday 9am - 3.30pm and a vibrant street market where shoppers can enjoy a variety of brand new stalls offering a range of products, every Friday and Saturday 9.30 - 4.30 pm on Albion Street and Curzon Street.
