Description
The Old Bill is a wonderfully welcoming restaurant in Oldham. Our vintage police theme has its heritage in our original premises, next door to Oldham Police Station. Over the years our collection of antique Bobby helmets, jackets and truncheons have become our brand. Family friendly with fantastic food and a warm atmosphere, situated in the quiet, historical and newly developed “Independent Quarter”, The Old Bill is a destination you simply have to visit.
Fantastic access from every direction and a large car park on Queen Street which charges a nominal fee to rest your tyres. A visit to The Old Bill could not be made easier!
The menu consists of pasta dishes, meats, salads, and traditional classic dishes. Even at the bar great importance is given to specially selected labels. Celebrating, or just relaxing, why not come in and try our cocktail menu, with lots of drinks, spirits and a selection of champagne.
The Old Bill restaurant was established in 1995 when Marco Senior and his son Paolo decided to create an authentic, family run family feel restaurant. The restaurant has built up a reputation as the perfect place for that intimate meal, or social and family occasion in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
New to the Old Bill is a function room on the first floor which can cater for approximately 80 people and has bar facilities.
All food businesses are inspected by the council and given a food hygiene rating based on their compliance with the legal requirements for hygiene, structural condition and confidence in the management. A business is rated from 5 for very good through to 0 for those premises that need to improve urgently. Food hygiene ratings give an indication of the overall level of food hygiene compliance. We recommend you check a business’s food hygiene rating so you can make informed choices about where to buy and eat food. All Oldham food business ratings are on the Food Standards Agency website http://ratings.food.gov.uk/QuickSearch.aspx
