After a change of management and refurbishments both inside and out, the Morning Star can now offer you a truly great place to dine out. Great atmosphere in clean, comfortable surroundings and always with a warm welcome of course.

Our chef who has worked in some of the finest eating places receiving regular rave reviews has created an exciting menu with new dishes and some traditional favourites all at very reasonable prices. We use local fresh produce which is cooked to order. We do not use microwaves.

Sundays of course we have the great British traditional roast on offer. Our steaks are flame chargrilled and exactly to your liking, simply delicious. Come and give us a try, we are sure you will not be disappointed!

We also have a selection of fine wines by the glass or bottle from around the world available to compliment your meals.

Don’t forget the Morning Star is a pub at heart so if you’re not eating out you can still try a pint of award winning JW Lees traditional cask ale any day from 12pm. We also sell Carlsberg and Holsten on draught.
