Description

Surrounded by dramatic Pennine scenery the centre is situated in the heart of Saddleworth. The centre offers free art exhibitions, wildlife displays, a picnic area, shop, and nature garden.

Accessible for all abilities via a ramped walkway, the nature garden features woodland, meadow and pond habitats to encourage butterflies and other animals, with a gazebo and bird hide to watch the wildlife from.

Local information and advice is available from the centre as well as copies of local trail guides and the countryside events programme.

Open Wednesday to Friday (11am - 4pm), weekends and Bank Holidays (10.30am - 5pm), the centre also has toilets with access for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
