Set in 9 acres of farm land, 17th-century Grains Bar Hotel offers a warm friendly atmosphere and rooms with free WiFi. We are surrounded by the beautiful Pennines, on the border of Lancashire and Yorkshire, with the Pennine Way on our doorstop. With many fantastic walking, cycling and hiking routes, such as the Saddleworth Moors, Dovestones Reservior, Castleshaw Roman Fort, Hudderfield Narrow Canal, Hartshead Pike, Crompton Moor and many more great places to explore. We can plan walking and navigational trips from the hotel for singles or groups, just contact us for more information. Located in Oldham, we are a family run Hotel .
The M62 Rochdale and Saddleworth exits and Oldham M60 are easily accessible and we have plenty of free parking.
All of our rooms have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. We have standard, en suite and family rooms available. Excellent views of the Saddleworth, Oldham countryside can be seen from most rooms. There are 2 relaxing lounges and a fully licenced bar free BT Sports with hot drinks available. Breakfast is served daily with evening meals provided on request (Monday to Thursday) We have a nice selection of desserts to choose from .

We cater for weddings, events, and corporate meetings. Grains Bar Hotel offers a permanent heated marquee, comfortably seating up to 75 guests for dinner. Room hire only is available as well.

With the increase of customers who have allergies, we are currently not accepting animals inside the hotel, exceptions can be made for assisting animals. If you wish to come and take a drink from our bar, we welcome you to sit in the garden areas with your pet. We do apologise if this causes you any inconvenience, we hope you can understand.
