Come and see Santa and his real reindeers in Oldham town centre as our big winter carnival parade celebrates its 20th anniversary.

The colourful parade starts at 1pm in Parliament Square and makes its way through the town centre. This year’s theme is ‘Christmas Day’, highlight the most important day of the festive season.

Look out for lots of entertainment including the dancing sprouts, a giant Christmas pudding and much more. With over 200 artists and performers, including brass bands and community groups from across Oldham there’s lots to see.

The parade finishes back at Parliament Square, with live entertainment and music until 4pm.

Don’t forget, there’s three hours free parking at weekends when using council owned town centre car parks.
