You’ll find a whole host of festivals, events and shows for all ages throughout the year in Oldham's countryside.

Oldham's Countryside Centres offer a range of courses for adventure, leisure and learning and a year-round events programme.  Group walks, gardening clubs, kids environmental clubs and much more are all on offer for the whole family.

The Saddleworth Wartime Weekend, known as Yanks Are Back in Saddleworth, is three days (13th - 15th August) of live entertainment, battle re-enactments, military vehicle convoys and much more spread between Dobcross, the scene of the Yanks film and Uppermill.

Visit the Dog Show on the 26th June at Churchill Playing fields for a full day of entertainment including a car boot sale, stalls, BBQ, teas, beer tent and a bouncy castle, face painting and lucky dip for the kids.
